Relief from Menopause Information

As we get older and start experiencing signs and symptoms of menopause we all wonder about what types of menopause relief products are available that can help. But before you start using these products let’s look at what the signs and symptoms of menopause are and what they do to our bodies.

Examining the Signs of Menopause
There are around 34 different signs of menopause. But, as with pregnancy and labor every woman is different. Some women have hardly any morning sickness and many have very mild labor pains while others have morning sickness all day long and have severe labor pains. The same goes with signs and symptoms of menopause. Some women may notice they are experiencing several of the symptoms while others may notice only a small change. So, nothing is carved in granite as to how bad these symptoms will affect your every day life. The majority of women do report that they have or had uncomfortable symptoms.

Hot Flashes
The main menopause sign that most women will experience is Hot Flashes. Hot flashes are a result of hormonal fluctuations and imbalance. These usually occur at night and can be very annoying. You can wake up in the middle of the night soaking wet and will have to get up and change clothing to be comfortable. The flashes do not last very long but are very annoying to say the least. Hot flashes can occur during the day as well, which can be embarrassing if you are out shopping. But, don’t fret; every woman will go through this as they go into menopause.

Fatigue
Fatigue or being overly tired is another menopause complaint. This condition usually is associated with the night sweats as most people call them, but they are jus the hot flashes that occur at night like explained above. These hot flashes interrupt your normal sleeping matter. Insomnia is another troublesome sign of menopause; this can be from night sweats or are just there for no apparent reason.

Menopause relief for mood swings is often sought after for women that are experiencing them. You may find your self feeling overly sad or even very excited without any reason at all. This can be confusing for you and for others around you. Irritability can also be a problem, but it is no worse than PMS. Many women experience mood swings prior to their menstrual cycle. But, for women in the menopause stage of their lives these swings can come on very abruptly and at no particular time. Anxiety and depression are also signs of menopause. These can be brought by many different things for each woman. When our hormones are changing it is very easy for our moods to take us on a ride of mood swings. You may experience life’s little problems becoming more overwhelming than normal and not understand why. But, these are all normal hormonal changes that happen but can be dealt with.

Because your body is changing because of hormonal changes you may also experience vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, incontinence in your bladder control and swelling caused from retaining water. All of these symptoms are because the vaginal lining and other body parts that surround the vagina are becoming thinner. You will need to go to the bathroom more and may even have the tendency for urinary tract and bladder infections. Since your hormones are changing you can still retain water and swell just like during PMS.

Sore and or tender breasts have also been a major complaint of women during menopause. Other changes in your body can be osteoporosis. Your bone density decreases during the aging process but during menopause, it can occur very fast. Because of the lower bone density tooth loss can also happen. Lower estrogen levels will cause changes in your mouth to occur and can turn into gum disease. Also because of the gums your breath will also change and may not be as pleasant as before.

Because of the fatigue, the stress and the mood swings you may find that you are not as interested in intimate times with your spouse. So, your sex life may also suffer.

Concentrating and your memory can also be affected during menopause. As estrogen levels decrease you may notice that you may notice short memory lapses, and have trouble concentrating.

Some women have trouble with ringing or maybe a buzzing in their ears. This is known as tinnitus. This symptom was not reported by every woman.

Thinning hair, more facial hair, brittle fingernails, dry skin, and age spots are also known signs of menopause. These signs are from the lower hormone levels that you now have.

Some women have also noticed heart palpitations, headaches, muscle tension, aching joints, aching muscles, weight gain, increased appetites, and dizziness.

Remember though, these are signs and or symptoms of menopause and there is relief available for all these. Menopause will not stop you from enjoying your life just like before, you just have to learn to adjust and find the right products to help with relief of menopause.
